hatelife, I know some of the posts might seem a bit hard, but don't mind. The brothers are just trying to help you. It's good advice, and I hope you will continue visiting the forum until you overcome this particular trial, and beyond.

I am telling you from personal experience, you aren't the only one going through this kind of situation right now. If you could visit the Brother's section, you would see that there are many who are struggling. And it's hard, when you see the people around getting good jobs and being successful otherwise, even though they may be less "deserving". I know people who were complete slackers throughout school and/or not practicing Muslims, who ended up getting high-paying jobs, while hardworking, pious brothers struggle.

It is all a test from Allah. Be patient, and make sure you're fulfilling all your duties to Allah. Put your trust in Him and He will come through for you in ways you never expected. For encouragement, read about the struggles of the Prophet and the sahaba in this dunya.

Please, don't even think about suicide. If you succeed, it will be extremely painful and then Allah will punish you, and if you fail, you could be maimed for life. It's not worth it. Know that this life will end soon anyway. Even if you live to 100, you probably won't live much longer than that. Then if you've been patient through your trials, you'll have no more pain or worries. Look forward to that meeting with Allah. Strive for the akhirah, because that's the one place where your efforts will be guaranteed to yield results. You are making an honest effort, so don't blame yourself for things that are beyond your control.

Imagine the regret if after death you discover that you made the wrong choice? That if you had been patient, grateful, kind, gentle, merciful your life would have ended with you gaining eternal bliss? The regret of missing out and cutting short your own amazing life because of some problems with dunya!!!

Your life is amazing, you have been given the power to make it amazing..if you aim low and fall in the mud, get up and aim for the stars. Setbacks, and challenges are part of life, if babies gave up every time they fell, they would never learn to walk. Courage and the desire to serve the creation of Allah should inspire you. Even praying for orphans and attempting to help them in some small way will fill you with joy...you are not worthless Allah selected you to serve His Creation what a honour.

I too agree, with you maan. We tend to overreact to our issues. Its our fault since we do are too attached to this Dunya.

when i read his other thread..he seems very depressed and exhausted with all those challenges he is facing by himself without the help of his brother...right now seems he needs muslim bros. moral /financial suppport.. u guys should do something for him to help him out before it is too late..

• Suicidal? Depressed? seek help from a medical professional immediately, don't delay.
• Overwhelmed? seek counselling before it gets worse.
• Need help with mom and dad? seek agencies that might be able to provide assistance... or, appeal to your local imam for guidance/support.
• Need a job? continue to search, remain patient and get the word out to as many people as you can (including your local Muslim community).

Of course it goes without saying that you should continue with dua'as and salaat and anything else (watching motivational videos, reading) that may be helpful.

Trust in Allah (SWT) and remain patient - this is your only life support.

Please, remain steadfast and patient.

Im in despair of finding a job (fresh graduate) since 9 months and counting, before i didnt want to enter a specific college (not better than the one i wanted to) but my family forced me into entering this one (not related to money) and now they told me to go to a specific person (manager) to submit my application (which i did) today i called the manager and told him that i found out that theres an opening at your company (a friend of mine told me) and told him "can i work for this opening" he said " your a fresh grad and you dont know anything, i dont need noobs at my work" i was like " :'( ok thx for bothering you."

And then i told my parents what happened and they're still telling me to go after him (its actually not that waw company)

As for me ive submitted my application to many companies but none called, actually some but the job is not related to my career, seeing all my colleagues ALLLLLLL found their way in (got a job) with a "wasta" or maybe not.

What im trying to say i s*ck at life, and thats only a part of my story, if you want the other part from this thread.

I just read your other post , Allah reward you for the difficulty your going through. No doubt you are better then me or many of us that is why Allah has chosen you to be tested in this manner.

As for your post here concerning your career and trials and tribulations thereof many can relate to that . I myself have faced unfair situations and many situations which cut deeply into your heart from people who I work with. This is the beginning of your working life which is another place of trial from Allah . Which began even before entering it while searching for a job. In many ways the workplace and people are second family and you will be tested by Allah many times like this.

Be strong my brother , things will always change. They always do ,
good to bad and bad to good again that is life .

Allah tests a persons character in times of extreme hardship when everything seems to go against you and in times when everything seems to go for you times of extreme wealth/
happiness / good fortune.

I didnt read all your comments but for now im not going to suicide, but in a second thought maybe im not meant to be a muslim.

Im not encouraging anyone to leave islam but my life so far didnt encourage me to get in touch more about my religion, i cant handle it to be a muslim and live my life at the same time, one of the pressure im going through is being a muslim, i still didnt leave islam nor i ignore it, but living in depression each day and saying im a muslim wont work with me anymore.

Brother and sisters thank you for all of your comments, i will be back when i get back and try to tell you what happened with me after like 1 or 2 years.
