Jewllery for men and women.. also talismans etc
Salaams.. My questions are according to the Hanafi Madhab:
isit permissible to wear the Aytul Kursi around the neck.. for portection and other good benefits? I have read online it is shirk etc.. but it cant be as we wear taweez-so it should be fine right ?
Also If taweez is under t-shirt or jumper etc.. can one go into the toilet with it on-would it be Ghunna or isit permissible?
Also I read that it's haraam for men to wear silver or gold except for a single silver ring-is this true or what are the rulings?
Also what are the rulings for women regarding wearing silver and gold? -- I have bought a little pendant which is real silver and has the Aytul Kursi on it and was wanting to give it too my sister..hence why I ask if women are allowed to wear silver?
Also why I ask if men can wear silver.. could I wear this real silver Aytul Kursi pendant?
jazak'Allah

wa alaykumus salaam wa rahmatullah,
With regards to women wearing gold, silver and other substances, see

With regards to men, see

To break it down, according to the above, women can wear gold and silver rings, pendants, etc, but not any other substances. As far as a woman is concerned, it would be permitted for her to wear a pendant with a Qur’anic verse or Allah’s name inscribed on it. However, two points must be taken into consideration:
a) If the pendant has a Qur’anic verse inscribed on it, then she should not wear it during her menstruation, for wearing a pendant entails direct contact with a verse of the Qur’an.
b) It must be removed before entering into the toilet/bathroom.
Men cannot wear gold. Gold has been decisively prohibited for men by the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace). It is also unlawful for men to adorn themselves with any type of jewellery besides a silver ring that is equivalent or less than 2.975 grams (mithqal). However, it is better not to wear one, unless needed.
