Cheapest Method of Going to the Holy Lands for Umrah from UK

Assalamu alaykum.

Having done a search on cheap umrah packages, i came accross this link

and saw brother London786's posts.

i will be going the normal way via travel agent packages for 2/3 weeks etc. but if we could compile the cheapest methods/routes to go, it would be good as i guess i would be able to go more often and also for those brothers i know locally who just cant afford it.

so does anyone know the cheapest way to go from uk for both umrah and hajj aswell as in ramadan?

i dont mind a bit of struggle etc as it wont be with family.

so one way in the other thread.. was flight to instanbul then train through syria and then by road.. any more details on this? cost etc.?

can we really get a flight to saudi and have a 3day visa and do umrah in makkah then one day in madina and then out? any more details on this? cost etc.?

how about flight from uk to dubai and then by road to makkah/madina? any if on contacts or cost? or even a flight from dubai to madina?

any other ideas with full breakdown and cost?

Syria is out of bounds for now, due to the conflict.

I don't know about the rates, but if you wanna go from Dubai, you better have your Umrah Visa with you from the UK. You won't get any Umrah Visa from the UAE while you are on a visit

very true, just looking at a 7day umrah package and noticed they all say excluding air fare.. does anyone know of any sites which have the complete prices aswell which include airfare, just getting a rough idea.. was so much easier when my father used to arrange this stuff, now i have no clue.

You should see the different packages of different agency. select which one you prefer.

bump for this, anyone know of a weekend 3 day package available or how to find info on a complete package including flight? or 5 day package max due to work holidays.

to be honest looking at the time etc,. and with ramadan coming up, most likely just before or straight after hajj. (ive already done haj etc.) can you help at all?
