The fact of the matter is that this little thing was taken from Maulana Mahmood Hasan Rahimahullah, not Mufti Mahmoodul Hasan Deobandi Rahimahullah. Two completely different people. This mistake was by the kaatib in the book "adilla-e-Kaamilah" by Maulana Mahmood Hasan sahib Rahimahullah. The book was written in reply to the first ever open ad by Gear Muqallid Maulvi Hussain Batalvi sahib which contained 10 questions to the Ahnaaf. Maulana wrote an educational and exceptional reply to those questions in the book "Adilla-e-Kaamilah" . The problem is, the above mistake was made when the publisher copied the transcript.
Gear Muqallideen, when faced with the challenge , could not answer the book, they took this mistake as a target and appointed Muhammad Ahsan Amrohi to write a book full of insults and cheap shots against Maulana and Imam Abu Hanifah rahimahullah. As a result, he got what he deserved and became Qadyani.
Regarding the above issue, Maulana again wrote an extensive reply and the appropriate refutation of that book has not yet been made by Gear Muqallideen till this date. The book's name is "Ieedhaahul Adillah".
Since these books are written in pure Urdu, most readers may not be able to benefit from these rightaway. Therefore, Mufti Saeed Ahmed Palanpuri sahib Hafidhahullah has published a "Tas'heel" to this book, called Tas'heel Eedhahul Adillah. All the above detail is also in the preface of that book.
The thing is, this was a typist/transcriber's mistake, but ghair muqallideen like to play cheap shots, and there's no reply to cheap shots. Just like Hadhat Maulana Ameen Safdar Okarvi Rahimahullah said that Gear Muqallideen have lost in the field of Daleel, now they'll be following the footsteps of barelvis and resort to Ibaraat. And boy was he right.
