After completely making my wudhu, I just remembered that I had forgotten to perform the Masah on my head. So I just wet my hands and did it right there, without starting again from the beginning. Was my wudhu valid?

yes

The order of wudhu is part of the sunnah, not the faraidh nor a requirement in the Hanafi madhhab. In the Shafi'i madhhab, wudhu has to be made in order.
In our madhhab, to not make wudhu in order would be the same as skipping a sunnah muakkadah, like gargling or failing to wash the hands (but washing the arms including hands in one go) - it would be sinful to do so purposefully but the wudhu will remain valid.
ياايها الذين امنوا اذكروا الله ذكرا كثيرا
Concurred with the answer. Tarteeb is sunnah according to Hanafiya. However, make sure that you do not miss out tarteeb again since it is sunnah mu'akkadah.
