Default Egypt: "Farewell sex with the deceased wife!" - Where is it gone?

    Assalamu Alaikum

I just read an article in my local newspaper about "Farewell sex with the deceased wife!" being allowed in Egypt. It was taking from the Daily Mail. I came on sunniforum to read the thread to see if I can get some more information on the topic so I can explain to the non Muslims who will ask me about the issue. Why can't I access the thread?

May be...Allahu alim. But...that's not my point, brother. I don't care what the media says until I get a concrete evidence.

I actually want to know what the Hukm Shara'i on "Farewell sex with the deceased wife". On what basis the Moroccan Alim gave the fatwa? What does actually Islam say about it? Can anyone give me any answer with Dalil.

    Jazak Allah

I see the online newspapers have updated their articles to admit that it may not be authentic. I wonder if my local newspaper will do the same.

    wa rahmatullah,

Nowadays anything that seems to portrait muslim countries as bad/weird are most probably lies from non-muslim and their brothers amongst the murtads.

So the Egyptians aren't looking to pass such a law?

    Wa salaam, brother.

It is not actually about the non-muslims' propaganda. It's about what Islam permits and what not. Who cares what the westerners say about it! It's as simple as this, akhi.

If Islam permits such a law, it should be implemented. If not...then...it must not be taken into account. That's it!

    The questions are-

Ques-1. Have the Moroccan Alim given the fatwa?

Ques-2:If yes....on what basis? Is it according to Islam?

If Islam does not allow such Fatwa, then, the Moroccan Alim should be punished....
and...if he hasn't given such fatwa, then.....the media which published it should be punished.

Now, do you have any Dalil about what actually Islam says about the "Farewell sex with the deceased wife"? If you have, could you please share, akhi?

    Ma'salaam.
