Question regarding Ijab Qabul

Salam dear brothers and sisters, i want to ask if male and female's Ijab Qabul is performed and nothing is said about Meher is their Nekah valid or they have to perform Ijab Qabul with Meher again. Waiting for reply. Tnx.

Yes the Nikah is valid even if the Mahr is not mentioned. The

The Ibarah of Qudoori is :

وَيَصِحُّ النِّكَاحُ إذَا سَمَّى فِيهِ مَهْرًا وَيَصِحُّ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُسَمِّ فِيهِ مَهْرًا
The Nikah is valid when Mahr is mentioned in it. And it is (also) valid eventhough the Mahr is not mentioned in it.

What I also have noticed during some marriage contracts, that only one party is asked by the Imam whether they agree with the marriage Zayd with the daughter Hinda of so and so for an x ammount of mahr. The other party is asked nothing. So the Imam is somehow a wakeel of the male party, but this is not explicitly mentioned.

Is this case mentioned in the books, and more importantly, would it be valid?
