Is it possible to do a trial-run?

We already have the star rating system for threads which I believe is anonymous and it is being used. I don't know if there have ever been any discussions about that system. So why not extend that to individual posts or a thumbs up/down counter... either way, just a trial period to see how it goes.

It would be great if we could manipulate the ordering of the thread to pull up the star/thumbsup posts (order so the ones with more stars/thumbsup are at the top of the list) too.

I also like the idea of a 'read-later' or 'favourites' tracker... I use Opera and have been bookmarking threads but honestly I totally forget they're there and haven't been back to read any yet.

Masha Allah i have to say everyone's input has been quite informative, specially as everyone is concerned with ikhlaas and not hurting anyone's feelings, may Allah accept it.

Never mind sis acacia, if the trial run is not given we'll storm SF and "thumbs up" SF's respected dr sahib's idea of being able to ban everyone else!! : )

Wouldn't subscribing to threads be the same as bookmarking them?

Oh, that's great! I thought subscribing just brought the thread up whenever a new comment was posted. Do I go to settings to set that up?
