I understand why you are against him, because as you say he had many Muslims killed. But from what we can judge from him, Zhaahiran, his intentions were good (Allahu A`lam), so we make Du`aa that Allah Rabbul `Izzah forgives him.

I advise any person who wants to get a proper knowledge of the Shaykh to read the book "The Life of Muhammad ibn `Abdul Wahhab", written by Jamaaluddin M.Zarabozo. It is the most authentic book I have found on his life, mentioning both the good things he did and the bad; and this is surprising as the author M.Zarabozo, is a Salafi. Usually the follower will not narrate the bad things about his Imaam, like the Barelvis for example. You won't find them narrating anything bad about their "Ala Hazrat" Ahmad Reza Khan Barelvi, you'll only find exaggerations in his praise. The same goes for Hararis/Ahbaash and their Imaam `Abdullah al-Harari, and the rest of the Firaq.

But M.Zarabozo wrote this book in an unbiased manner, so it is a very good Kitaab to read to get the true picture of his life.

Whether or not I know what you are talking about is not important to you supplying the information and substantiating it with proof, of coarse if you can't do that, I understand and thus your comment means absolutely nothing.

So it's permissible for Muslims to slander other Muslims with their tongues and not provide proof, nor even correct information regarding their verbal accusations, nor even the name of that which they accuse others of, as much and as freely as they want?

You do realize it is only you who will be held accountable for what you say against him on the last day?

If you are right in your assumption that He has done something wrong and killed "Muslims" Unjustly, and you have knowledge of where and when he went outside the Shariah and you are keeping it from us, this is not permissible, you have to share the knowledge Allah has given you and help guide us.

If you're not right, then you are lying, backbiting, slandering, and bearing false witness.

If you feel so secure in knowing you're right that he did whatever you think he did over a simple fiqhi issue, then present it, it seems as though you've already come to the conclusion that you are right and we are wrong, so what is the problem?

If he was wrong he was wrong fine, I have no problem admitting if someone was truly wrong, just like other scholars were also wrong with other things, however, what i don't like is condemnation for their mistakes, when it can easily be discussed without cursing the individual.

In my view he was a great 'Alim of Hanabali school who eradicated Shirk.

But nowadays MODERN people take his teachings and invent new things.
