How Can We Prepare For Ramadan This Year?

I'll humbly give out the first tip .

- Start getting your tajweed in order and then dedicate yourself daily to memorizing those surahs you've been meaning to memorize. Memorize as much of the Quran as possible before Ramadan comes so Insha'Allah you can spend your nights praying long rakats in tahajjud.

May Allah give me and all of us the taufeeq to do this. Ameen.





EDIT: I would respectfully propose that the title of this thread be changed to something like "How Can We Prepare For Ramadan in 1433 (2012)?" as "Ramadan advertisement" is not doing it justice IMO and is bound to be overlooked by many (like I almost did). If the OP agrees then they can request the mods to make the change.

Also everyone has to make a very firm intention that they won't miss any castings and tarawwehs and also make intentions that how many Quran we will read in one month....we should at least finish 3 Quran a month and for huffaz it is more than that
