I am not sure how to lengthen a sajdah because apparently, you get reward if you do. My friend said to lengthen a sajdah, say subhana rabbi yal allah lots of times, but I am not sure if that is correct.

Yeah, that's how you do it
Keep the number of times you say it an odd number cause I've heard your supposed to (butsomeone will correct me if I'm wrong)
