Can i put it in the following way:
and then they asked him - tell us about mothers and tell us about sisters.
And then he told them, thus.
Your mothers are your mothers.
Your sisters are not your sisters, they are your mothers.
mother is a more respectable word for a women/mother rather than a sister.
Calling a mother, by sister is really not desirable. Infact it 'll give way to shaitan to play with the one diseased at heart.
Khair in our town people generally call a mother by mother only.
For ex: If somebody wants a women to clear the way then he says "amma zara hatiye" and not "aapa zara hatiye"
& that is much more respected term & also free from fitnah.
Even mashaiks dont call every women as sisters . They say "mohtaram
maon, bahnon aur betiyon"
there seem to be a lot of hakimahs on sf who deserves to b called as mothers instead of sisterrs.
Sf should give the status to the one who deserves.
