Marriage - Culture Vs Deen

Asalaamu Alaikum,

I am in need of any video/websites that scholars (preferably of Hanafi background) that explain the correct methods of getting married i.e. Choosing a partner for their deen rather then their cast, past or skin colour.

There is big problem with the people of the asian sub continent where their preference is over deen, to such a degree that the cultural ways become obligatory.

I really need help getting allot of compiled hadiths and scholars who explain how to go about this, so in turn we can tackle this issue within our community.
