Assalaamu Alaykum
Is registration necessary for the al-Awa'il al-Sunbuliyah event in Leicester? If so who do you register with? Turath or Jameah?
Does anyone know where the Awa'il can be purchased or downloaded from?
The organisers have said that they are looking at ways to broadcast the event online. If not they will be posting the videos on their youtube channel
www.youtube.com/turathpublishing
after the tour has concluded insha'Allah. So I suggest subscribing to them on youtube.

Salams,
I don't want to start a war so please do not take offence. I think the whole idea is a good one and we should try to consciously try to play down all the sectarian stuff. Let's at least keep it out of the public sphere which includes internet forums, even if is meant humorously.
On a different note, does anybody know where and when Shaykh Hamza said "If you are called Sufi on the one hand and Wahhabi on the other, know that you are on the Haq (Or something to that effect)"

NOTE: The Awaail programme for Ulama and Final Year & Mishkat students in Leicester on Monday 25th will be starting at 930am SHARP, NOT 10am as written on the first poster.
"When a foolish person speaks, do not reply to him, for better than responding to him is to remain silent. If you speak to him, you have assisted him, but if you ignore him, he dies out of extreme grief." Imam Al-Shaafi'i (rahimahullah)
As Salaamu Alayku,
Alhamdulillah plans are being made to broadcast the event live on Turath Publishing's website. www.turath.co.uk.

Was Salaam
I don’t care what you’re doing this weekend – whether something important like entertaining a guest, or not so important like following England at the Euros! – you’d be a fool to miss out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be in the presence of, and listen to, arguably one of the greatest living scholars; my respected teacher, the hadith scholar (muhaddith), jurist (faqih) and reviver (mujaddid), Shaykh al-Islam Justice Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani (May Allah preserve him). The Shaykh does not require any introduction, but the ultimate compliment I can pay him is that it is a great privilege just to be living at the same time as him! May Allah bless him and grant him a long life, Ameen. If you’re anywhere near London, Leicester or Blackburn, please make sure you attend at least one event. (Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam)
