With the grace of Almighty Allah, Al-Salam Institute has been running courses in Advanced Islamic Sciences for the last six years, under the guidance of Shaykh Akram Nadwi. Over these years we have completed the major classical texts from the curriculum of a traditional 'Alimiyyah degree. Our students have also been trained by Shakyh Akram in specialised subject areas, such as Al-asma al Rijal and Advanced Level Comparative Fiqh.
This year they will be undertaking the examination for the final year of the 'Alimiyyah course, similar to that of Nadwatul 'Ulama, India.

Salaam - I think this is graduation for both Alims and Alimas?

I want to enquire about how your Alim course is structured? It seems that the Alim course section has only just been put on the website.

How can one START the Alim course with Shaykh Akram? It seems course are always ongoing and little opportunity/structure for newcomers to join. Since this is the final year, will the entire course be restarting?
