Well, Islam is neither in favour of masturbation nor fornication. Medically, Masturbation is quite harmful than sexual intercourse. It will cause you your hearing weak, blinker vision (low eye sight), acne and memory loss too.

Both are wrong.
Zina is a major sin and for married partners the Hadd is prescribed as punishment.
Masturbation is a lesser crime.
Marriage is the solution to both.

Also I have heard that its like an itch..

There is a brothers section but it is difficult to get in. Mods are extremely busy (some nonsense about them having lives to would you believe?). Usually if you create a thread which strictly mentions it is for brothers only the sisters will stay away and vice versa. It might be a better alternative than trying the brothers.

And as I write this I just remembered there is a sensitive section of the forum which only the mods can access. You can post your questions there.

Finally, I agree with you, cow manure is much better ^_~
