Bro, one cannot just blame the government alone. The people over there and the rest of the Muslim countries are not angels either.

When Saudi princes are openly appearing on film associating with unislamic activities, hiring females without hijab, Prince Waleed prevents any women in his presence from wearing veil, when TV channels depict unislamic activities. Multiple princes been caught/accused of orgies and homosexality. What do you think will happen?... People are frustarted with the hypocrasy.

This is what happens when you have extremism, this extreme-action results in extreme-reaction. This is why salafism is "cool" when its a minority (because its a counter-culture movement); but the moment it becomes majority (mainstream), it becomes uncool. And people lose their faith altogether. They continue to criticize Madhab and rafidhi, but their own practices are full of jahiliya and nifaq.

The best example to learn is the European Wars of Religion, and the "puritans". They fought many battles to break off against the Catholic Church, the Protestants were just like the Salafis. But today its those very Protestants countries (US, UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany) who are the most irreligious. WHY? its because their religious extremism or "puratinism" met its elastic-point, after which ppl were so tired of religion they gave it up altogther.

Everything the Muslims are doing today, everything i see: i say DEJA VU. Because ive already studied this and seen this before. I can already predict what will happen next. If you want to protect the faith, stick to Madhab and stick to Sunnah, and stick to the "middle path" that the Rasul prescribed. or else your faith will become like the Protestant-countries and the Gulf-countries.

Even secularism, which people associate with being AGAINST religion, is actually a RELIGIOUS concept. Do you know how?? After the Protestants broke off, and the wars were over, they began arguing and fighting amongst themselves. The so-called "puritans" did not like the Church of England, they did not want a state-church. They wanted to be independent and de-centralized. So thats how the "pilgrims" (puritans) fled to America, and thats how SECULARISM came into being. The protestants also enacted secularism in Netherlands as well.

This women attitude is not that uncommon. generaly the current bunch of arab women are full of **** just like our hyper practicing muslimah of the west.
They think the world revolves around their whimms and wishes. One reason why devorce rate is high partly because a lot of these women deserve it! Their daddy have spoilt them rotten!! In the west these gessa bird sister have a problem doing the house work! It is one thing not working outside on religious ground but another winging about house work, says a lot about their lazy nature as a whole. I think the import option is a good idea if one is thinking of marriage.
One should think twice before marrying an arabi!! Niqabi and non niqabi means zilch!
They have a problem at smiling at other muslimah!!

Now thats not fair for Arab women, not all are as bad as you painted them here. You will find a lot of desi women in US who have problem with doing house chores. I agree that Muslim women are really influenced by women right in the west and most of them want to live luxurious life without making any effort even in their own houses. But again, I would like to point out that there are some really pious and intellegent women out there whether Arabi, desi, western etc.

Extremes on this side, extremes on that side....what to do?

In the larger scheme of things, she just made a minor mistake.
He was just doing his job.

Wonder who put the damned thing on the net so that Muslims could break their heads abusing either their sister or their brother in Islam all over the world. Bah!

I suppose people have discussed all aspects of the problem and hence we can move to other problems. But we shall not do that unless the thread is closed!

She did... that's what makes it more problematic I think.

Default Muslims who disagree with Saudi police style

When I speak to Muslims, it is difficult to understand what actions of Muslims is actually part of Islam. I myself agree with users who believe that the actions of the Saudi Arabian police, in the video which is circulating on the internet was wrong in how they treated the woman in the mall , but I want to know why. What are the proofs of Islam that make you believe that their actions was wrong and not part of Islam.

    Regards,

    Johann
