    sorry maulana i wanted to clarify a point in my 'tawaaf' questions thread but it is now closed/locked.
    could u merge this one into that one and answer the outstanding question below?

    the outstanding question was...after umrah when u want to do nafl tawaafs do u always have to do 7 in a row and then offer 2 rakaats nafil namaz after each set of 7?
    or can you just do as many or few as u wish? i.e. do 3 go back to hotel. come back and do 10 more. after namaz in jamat do another 5 etc.

    and what does "mahazaat" mean in ur otrginal answer?

    It is sunnah to do all the circles of the tawāf consecutively. One should not separate between these circles without any pressing need to do so (e.g. to attend to jamā‘ah salāh etc.).[1]

    One should offer his two rak‘āt after every tawāf (seven circles). It is makrūh to combine different tawāfs and then pray the two-two rak‘āt for each of those tawāfs, except at a time when it is makrūh to perform salāh. In this case, one should delay these two rak‘āt until after the makrūh time and then pray them together.[2]

    ويصلي لكل سبعة أشواط ركعتين ويكره أن يجمع إلا إذا طاف وقت الكراهة فإنه يؤخر الصلاة ويطوف طوافا آخر وبعد زوال وقت الكراهة يصلي ما وجب عليه من ركعات الطواف (فقه العبادات - حنفي (ص: 354))

    Mahazaat refers to the mas'ala of women coming in line and exceeding a musalli in the salah. If a woman who is the same jamat as the man come next to the man while he is praying then his salah is invalidated. This mas'ala is called the mas'ala of mahazaat.
