We have jamia Hafsa and Alqaeda's forums. No need to ask anyone.
My point is on what basis are you abandoning Jihad related issue. Security is no issue. And if you are then admit this forum has biasness towards jihad when the ummah is in utmost need of it.

Bro, the forum moderators are not against Jihad. But many of the members are based on US, UK, Canada and will be on the receiving end of those Countries Laws. Recently a Muslim bussiness man was detained for just sending an sms 'Blow the competition away'. Even if it was totaling unrelated to 'blowing' anything he got detained. So just to save the forum members from such fitna the mods have made a stand on this. That DOES NOT mean they are against it.

If the issue is related to security then I am sure you can use the tools used by the forums where discussions take place on Jihad everyday. I know of SSL certificates, i know of encryption (SSH) and other techniques that can stop your threads to be searched via Google or other search engines.
This is not a reason I guess. Sorry to say.

They are detained when they become totally 'careless'. Things like writing your original name in Username, giving your original address to the forum, using your original IP, making plans related to Jihad and recruiting people without any precaution.
On sunniforum, we are ONLY discussing things related to jihad and they relate to political events. I think if such discussions are not held the Ummah will continue to be oppressed as the rest of the Ummah won't know about their pains...

These issues are normal. Every bit of this forum is being recorded and noted. Every ip is traced. If us mods can trace ips of individuals, then you can imagine for intelligence companies.

SF cherishes to be one of the top islamic forums on the web, hence the most amount of dibs for the intelligence. We have had incidents which we cannot disclose, where the security of member(s), for one reason or the other were compromised. We cannot take responsibility for every member who will come and post in their zealous emotions. The safest is to limit the discussions.

We also know there are many other forums which openly discuss Jihad issues. So it is not an opportunity lost. If someone wishes to discuss these issues, they can avail the opportunity to engage in those forums.

No matter what you do, the West will come up with a reason and if you compromise, perhaps a day will come when you would need to compromise on the very basic testimony as well.!
