What are the foods our beloved Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) used to eat?
Assalam alaikum!
Lets please discuss the foods which our Prophet (Sal Allaho Alaiyhe Wa Aalihe Wa Sallam) used to eat and used to recommend. Please use authentic hadiths with references.
1- What were the original names of the foods their benefits, timings, amounts and in which occasions they were used?
2- I have heard about Talbina, Sattu and another recipe of barley and beetroot. Does anyone know the exact recipes of Talbina, Sattu (a barley drink), Thareed and barley beetroot dish prepared during the time of our Prophet (Sal Allaho Alaiyhe Wa Aalihe Wa Sallam)? And are there any other recipes including sweet dishes?
3- What were the structure and materials of utensils and pots used for cooking those foods and for serving them?
4- Was the drinking water boiled or filtered before consumption. And from where the water was collected and stored?
5- Is it known how many meals our Prophet(Sal Allaho Alaiyhe Wa Aalihe Wa Sallam) used to take per day and in what times? And what was included in one day meal?
JazakAllah Khair

JazakAllah, Brother when you succeed in finding the recipe, please do share in the forum. I think there is a great need of documenting all the authentic recipes. There are lots of wonderful foods which we should be adopting in our daily lives. Its first benefit is the reward of following of our beloved prophet's sunnah and secondly the amazing benefits of these recipes.
