Scholars Views on Rida Khan

Im sure there is a thread about this topic which has been covered already however im struggling to find it.

**I wanted to know what were the scholars views on Ahmed Rida Khan during his era? Referring about scholors from Indian sub and all over the world at that time.


**Another question is why did scholars from the Brailwiyah school try to defame scholars from the deoband school?
Was it due to the Government pressure? Why did they make so much false accusations??


**Lastly did any Deoband scholar confront Rida khan about his false accusations and takfir on them??

1.The Mukaffir ul Muslimeen Ahmed Raza khan Sahib was a calamity upon the Muslims of Subcontinent who seeded this region with a deviancy of its own kind. No noble scholar ever submitted to his alien views about Islam.

2. There are some good reasons to believe that Ahmed raza khan was caused to surface during a very turbulent era when the 1857 struggle for independence had failed and the Ulama e haq were severely watched and persecuted by the British government. The British government need a tool with in to cause disunity among the scholars so that they will never be able to mobilize masses against them and Ahmed raza khan did the job very well.

3. I don't think so that any notable deobandi scholar ever did the Takfeer of Ahmed raza khan but they did refute his whimsical and deviated views.
