    Default Zakah

    Assalam o alekum

    Brothers I have a question about zakat
    I have a specific amount of money and since 2 months iam jobless due some circumstances mean i dont have any income.For my daily expenses
    I depend on my father.Now do I need to give zakah of this money?

    From my limited understanding, I pay zakah on savings I've had for more than one year. If you've only had that money for 2 months, then Zakah is not applicable.
