Can someone explain to me how silsalahs work?

Silsilahs: the belief that secret knowledge/practices were passed through a set of Sahabah and then other individuals until around the 5th or 6th century, when Persian people decided to publicize said knowledge/practices.

Wow, I thought I had made it clear in my previous posts that no one is claiming the unique practices of various turuq were taught by the Prophet or the sahaba. You people need to learn how to read.

The "bait of Taswwuf" is bidat according most scholar, because it was not exist in the period of Prophet saw, and then in the period of Pious Caliphs, and then in the period of Taba'een (the students of Sahabah), and then in the period of Taba' Taba'een (The students of students of Sahabah). There was only "Bait of Khilafat" exist in that period.

Can you please list the scholars who said its bidat?

Only bayt e khilafat huh? So bayt e tawbah has no position in Islam?

so deobandi sufis do believe that abu bakr passed on some sort of teachings to salman al farisi? Why are these not reported in the hadeeth and athaar? I'll read through all the links inshAllah

Then what was transmitted through silsilahs? Spiritual authority? Why weren't they made public until the 6th century hijrah by a group of Persians and why are they named after said Persians if their origin is the Sahabah?

The "Bait Islam" or "Bait Towbah" was unique to Prophet saw, because after him it was not done by any Sahabi or after the period of Sahabah, i.e. the periods of Taba'een or Taba' Taba'een. Therefore it is completely bidat to do Bait-e-Tawsuf.

Tasswuff Shar'e or Tazkyyah Batin isn't optional thing, it is UTMOST FARZ of Islam, even Allah Ta'ala didn't spare the Rasool ullah saw, Descend VERSES upon VERSES specially for Rasool ullah saw. How can you say it not obligatory.

But it is all about the Tasswuf Shar'e, NOT Tasswuf BID'E. Which is WELL MENTIONED in Quran, Hadith and Aathar. But as I have mentioned earlier these rituals, Bait, Sililah chains are BLUNT lies upon Rasool ullah saw and his companions.

IT IS OBLIGATORY TO ABANDON THIS.

I feel you are in theoretical chaos, challenge is that how can we change a bidat into sunnat. You quote the Quran for its necessity, and then say Oh man is not obligation

The story of khidr alaihi salaam in the Quran must be a Sufi forgery as per the great pseudo puritan salafis. Its clear in that how khidr alaihi salaam had access to a knowledge that is inward and that Moses alaihi salaam did not carry aat that point of time.

Rest of the "bidah" claims are just incpacity to understand. These are the same people who consodered madhabs as bbidah and shirk , so what else can you expect from them on silsilahs ? The problem is with basic principles and ignornace of how proof is established and ignorance of the proofs itself. So they do have the tools to even recognise a proof as proof, let alone access to proofs.
