‘Allamah Binnori: Adopting impermissible means for propogation of din

Foreword: 'Allamah Yusuf Binnori's (Allah have mercy on him) final lecture which took place in Dhu l-Qa'dah 1397 AH. Mufti Muhammad Taqi Uthmani (Allah protect him), after penning the following incident, writes: “These last advices of Mawlana Binnori (Allah have mercy on him) should be inscribed on the heart of every person involved in propagating and spreading din.”

A few days before his demise, Mawlana Binnori (Allah have mercy on him) attended a meeting of the Islamic Advisory Council in Islamabad . On the second day of the meeting, some people approached Mawlana, requesting him to deliver a bayaan (lecture) which would be broadcast on television. Mawlana politely excused himself and did not accede to their request.
