Default Urine drops after urination (need and Alim response )

i am having a beard and my collegues force me to lead salat , my problem is that after passing urine drops (not always however its frequent) keep coming out for atleast 10 -15 min. Now i have following queries:

    (1) i keep toilet paper (in underwear) after doing istanja with water and try to go to rest room half an hour before the salat time and remove the tissue when doing wadu for salat. Is this ok ?

    (2) can i lead the salat?

    (3) what should i do at fajar prayer time as it is very difficult to go to rest room half an hour before the salat time ?

    (4) can i offer multiple prayers with one wadu e.g. Maghrib salat with Asar Wadu ?

    (5) I am InshaAllah going to perform Hajj this year, what percaution should i adopt as i will be in Ahram only ?

    JazakAllah alkhair

brother its a very widespread weakness today amongst youth.
Theres a trick by which you will not be getting urine drops after urinating.
when you are done urinating sit in the same postion for 1 mins and then stand up for a minute and then sit back and try to urinate, all extra urine will flow out now. This way you will not get anymore urine drops after urination. InshaAllaah.

    Brother Tipu Sultan,

    Please read the following fatwas:

    http://www.askimam.org/public/question_detail/19071

    Question:

    1. InshāAllāh, I will be going for Hajj this year, but I have some issues. I am not sure whether I am classified as a ma’dhūr or not. I do know that, after urinating, some drops do come out every so often. I tend to do wudū’ at every fard salāh. How should I stay in the state of ihram, as I normally put toilet paper under my undergarments and change before performing wudū’ before every salāh. Obviously, I will not be wearing any undergarment and, as a result, cannot place toilet paper as it will not just stay there. I would be grateful if you can kindly help.

    Answer:

    1. After relieving yourself, it is necessary for you to practice istibrā’, i.e. taking the appropriate actions to ensure all urine has exited the body. Some people stand and walk, while others simply shake their lower body. Different people need to adapt different methods depending on their bodies [i]. Despite istibrā’, if you still experience urine drops, you may use one or more piece of clothing underneath your ihram that is not stitched to the shape of the body [ii].

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Istibra is a process that ensures that all of the droplets of urine are pressed from the urethra.
There are several practices that will assist a person in relieving himself of this problem.

    1. One should urinate in the crouched sitting position and not while standing.

    2. Once the urination has ended, the remaining drops in the urethra have to be forced out. This can be done by forcing yourself to cough whereby the movements of your body force out the remaining drops.

    3. Another way is to place toilet paper on your private part and take several steps whereby the urine drops leak out onto the toilet paper. However, the best and the most tried and tested method is as follows:
After urinating from the sitting position, use the middle finger and / or index finger of your left hand and press upon the urethra starting from between the scrotum and the anus moving forward towards the penis forcing any urine drops. After repeating this process several times, wash the private part as you would normally do whilst making Istinja and thereafter make sure to dry the private part with toilet paper.
As an extra precautionary method, one can place a piece of toilet paper in his underpants to absorb any leftover droplets of urine. One should only commence performing Wudhu after feeling assured that no more drops of urine will come out. Before, performing Salaah the toilet paper should be removed or replaced with clean toilet paper.
By applying the above mentioned methods of Istibra, Insha Allah, your problem would be solved.

If the urine flows during the time of jamaat you will be excused from participating in the jamaat. Inshallah you will be rewarded for having the intention of performing with the jamaat. You do not need to wait in the toilet for the time that you mentioned.

I believe Mufti Abu Hajra is affiliated with Darul Iftaa and Mufti Ebrahim Desai. The fatwas in the post provided by Taliban1 are from askimam.org which is a site run by Mufti Ebrahim Desai and Muftis under his supervision, so they would be useful to you.
