    Question Hajj/Umrah - Room Types - QUESTION

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakahtu

I hope this reaches you all in good health and Imaan InshaAllaah.

I have a question - when it says in Umrah packages under "room types" - Quad, Triple, Double, what does this mean exactly?

    Jazaak Allaah Khayr
Da sorrow in my heart wil remain, until I'm given da glad tidings of Jannah,
Until I hold my book in my right hand+my eyes r cooled by da sight of RasoolAllaah

    Double - 2 People In A Room
    Triple - 3 People In A Room
    Quad - 4 People In A Room

    ------------------------------

The More People In A Room - The Cheaper The Price
The Fewer People In A Room - The Expensive The Price
    Have Respect For The Haramain

    Please Recite:

    Surah Yaseen (22)
Surah Kahf On Fridays (15 Juz)
Surah Dukhan On The Night Of Friday (25 Juz)
    Surah Tabarak/Mulk - Every Night (29 Juz)
Surah Sajdah - Every Night (21 Juz)

So I am married, me and my husband would have a double room?

    Do they have double beds?

Don't assume anything. That's always the safest option.

Even if you are married you may be given the option whereby you sleep in a room with other women, and your husband sleeps in a room with all men.
That works out a lot cheaper (in most cases) than a "married couple double bed room" which I'm sure u can imagine would be an attractive room therefore pricier.

Also saudis have a different understanding of english it seems.
their star ratings for hotels is different to ours, except for the top end 5 stars i think.
and somethime they say "double room" and we think married double bed but they mean 2 beds in room!
and they wont apologise but they will just say push the 2 single beds togehter tio make a double bed lol

I am finding it extremely difficult to find hotels with reasonable cost and close to the haram in mekkah .

Could someone recommend a few names ?

Please Keep In Mind, That Due To Construction Work Going Around The Haramain, Please Do Expect To Pay More Wheerever You Are Planning To Stay. Our Hotel Is Booked For 10 Minutes Away From The Haram And Thats With A Group At A Heavy Price, But Then Some Would Say Its Reasonable And Thats What You Will Expect For The Next 2-3 Years During The Construction Period. May Allah Make It Easy For You.
