Name calling is the simplest way to aware you about forgeries, lies and distortions. We all know the Barelvi = Liar, deceiver, fabricator.....so simple. Therefore can't accept his article untill unless we verify every citation and its context.

I'm Deobandi, and I believe in Athari Aqeedah, which is preferred methodology of our Akabir (Deobandi) and our Shuyukh like Allamah Lakhnavi r.a, Allamah Khasmiri r.a they explicitly believe in it. Generally I follow Mufti Taqi Uthmani Sahab in Fiqh.

This is the Goal of All Imams (including Four Imams) and All Sensiable Muslims in Aqidah:

Believe in Quran wa Hadith as the Companions of Prophet saw have believed.

    Allah Ta'ala says:

Believe as the people (Companions radi allahu ta'ala anhum ajmaee) have believed 2:13

And your goal is "believe as my "Sheikh"* (of 4th or 7th or 14th century Hijir) believes

    * Not Prophet or Companions or Tabee or Tabe Tabee, just the Master of pathetic Greek philosophy.

Awesome... This goal is consistent with the goal and objective of the Asharis and Maturidis… Yet we still seems to disagree with the Hanbalis are various issues…

Well it is obvious that we didn’t study Ashari creed from the same scholars. I guess you seemed to be focused on what is not obligatory for Muslims to learn (ilm kalam) as oppose to what is obligatory for Muslims to learn... (usul Deen)

Imam al-Habib Abdallah bin ‘Alawi al-Haddad,(r), said,

If you look with a sound understanding into the those passages relating to the Faith (Aqidah) in the Book and Sunnah and the saying of the virtuous predecessors(Salafus Saleh), whether they be companions or followers, you will know for certain that the truth is with the party called the Ashari, named after Shaykh Abu’l Hasan Al Ashari, may Allah have Mercy on him, who systematized the foundations of the creed of the people of truth (Ahlul Haqq), and recorded its earlier version, these being the belief which the Companions and the best among the Followers agreed upon. (the Book of Assistance)

The Great Ashari Imam al Nawawi said,

Concerning Usul Deen: al Nawawi said, “As for the basic obligation of Islam, and what relates to tenets of faith, it is adequate for one to believe in everything brought by the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) and to credit it with absolute conviction free of any doubt.” (al Majmoo)

Concerning Ilm Kalam (Discursive Proofs): al Nawawi said, “Whoever does this is not obliged to learn the evidences of the scholastic theologians.(Mutakilmeen) The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) did not require of anyone anything but what we have just mentioned, nor did the first four caliphs, the other prophetic Companions, nor others of the early Muslim community who came after them.” (al Majmoo)

And I found this to be consistent with what I have been taught by Ashari scholars…
Imaam Ash Shafi'i said, "Whoever wants Allah to give him good must have a good opinion of people." (Bustan Arifeen-Nawawi)
