Some people seem to have their priorities all wrong. Instead of criticising these guys for being Salafi, we should praise them for the steps they have taken towards beuilding a Sharia state in Mali! We should prefer a state with the Sharia (interpretation) of the Salafi's rather than the completely kufr system that occupied the African nation before these Islamists took over. Yet all people can think about is the destruction of tombs (on which there is a STRONG majority of traditional scholarship who believes the shrines to be destroyed as being waajib anyway) but they do not realise that now people are being whipped for drinking alcohol and beating their wives, thereby removing oppression which the previous kufr system of governance did not!

And then you get some weird sufi's who decide they want to wage war against these Salafi's for destroying their tombs but where were they when they were ruled by kufr laws? People complain about Salafi's taking over countries and regions but the fact is, the inactivity of Ahlus Sunnah has allowed the Salafi's to almost monopolise the jihad in such regions and they are beating us to good deeds! They actively work to establish the Sharia and the Khilafah and put their lives and their wealth on the line whereas our great scholars are too busy trying to tell the Shafi's that they don't know their own madhab when it comes to the length of the beard and its obligation! At least amongst the Salafi's we have the brave Ulema who declare jihad and support it with their own being and then we suddenly are surprised to find that the Salafi's are taking over entire regions and implementing Sharia (which is an obligation on us all)?

If you hate that the Salafi interpretation of the Sharia is the one being implemented in Somalia or Mali or Yemen, then why do you not ask the Ahlus Sunnah to fight? Why, instead of supporting your Muslim brothers (even though I consider the Aqeedah to be bidah, I obviously acknowledge them to be my brothers in Islam) in their fight against the puppets and the oppressors, you complain they are propagating their own interpretation of Islam amongst the people? Instead of complaining, you should do as they do (but in the way of the Ahlus Sunnah) but complaining about it is just pure counter productivity. Either:

    1. Support them
    2. Work parallel to them
    3. Stay silent
