A Gem which has left us but we dont even know!!!

Sheikh Anayatullah Raja (RAHIMAHUMULLAH). This Sheikh was in Vancouver, Canada and he passed away in 2006. I was in Vancouver last month when Maulana Yousuf Motala was there and we had a gathering at Mufti Aasims Shbs house. There i heard of this Sheikh.I went out and I asked some of the Ulemas and community memebers and seriously this Sheikh was truly a gem, I wish I had met him when I was alive. Sheikh Anayatullah Raja was born in Karachi and he studied in Jamia Farooqia under the most learnt ulema of that time which include Sheikh Saleemullah Khan, Sheikh Nizamuddin Shamzai etc... He became the closest student of Sheikh Saleemullah Khan. He taught some books in Jamia Farooqia. He also taught Abi Dawud Shareef in Madressah Ayesha, Karachi ( DR.AMJADS MADRESSEH) and he also taught Hadith in Madresseh Khadijatul Kubrah in Karachi. He was also the translator for the Arab Jamats in Madani Masjid. In 1995, he was sent to Vancouver, Canada by his Sheikh. Here Maulana did a lot of work. He was the IMAM of Masjid al noor, Jamia MAsjid Vancouver and he was considered the elder of the Tablighi Jamaat. He had his daily Drasequran after Fajar in Surrey Masjid. He passed away in 2006 in Canada due to cancer. After my visit, I contacted Maulana Tariq Jameel and Mufti Taqi Usmani regarding this Sheikh and both of these ulema praised Sheikh Anayatullah and told me that this Sheikh really had the fikr of Deen in the west. Once Sheikh Anayatullah`s wife got severely burnt when cooking dinner for Sheikh Taqi Usmani. Sheikh Anayatullahs son is A hafiz and he is currently becoming an Aalim under the guidance of Sheikh Asim Rashid shb, his son leads Jummah in a Musallah in Surrey and MASHALLAH hafiz Osama has the the qualities of Ulema in his lectures. May Allah grant Sheikh high place in Jannah and make his son a source of spreading Islam in the west. If anyone have more info regarding him, please share about this Sheikh!
