since you have set the expectation that she is so deeni as you, that would mess up later if things doesnt go good.
Have you spoken to her, inquired about her, how you know about her piety?

What is salatul isthikhara? Everyone keeps mentioning it but no one bothers to tell me what it is. What do I have to do?

I said I think she might be. I'm not sure though. We have spoken a little, but I have also asked people who know her and her sister. I do not know well enough and Insha Allah will inquire more. I'm trying to be careful so I do not do anything haram that could leave even the slightest bit of any form of zina Insha Allah. I don't expect her to be perfect since I am not perfect. And I do not expect her to be exactly the same as me.

Isthikhara is when you ask Allah to guide and help you in making the right decisions in life. That way, you won't have any regrets inshallah.

Pray two rakah nafil salah
And then read the dua for istikhara
Go to sleep with wudhu facing the qibla.
Upon waking up, do the task on which your heart seems firm.
If one doesnt seem to reach a solution on the first day , keep doing it for 7 consecutive days. By then youll have your answer by the will of allah .

'task which the heart is firm on' means following what your innerself tells you is right.

Like if you asked Allah if this girl is right for you, after the istikhara you'll have a clear cut yes or no answer right there in your brain.. (Allah puts it there ofc).

Like mentioned , if you aint sure after the first time, keep doing it for seven days.
And may Allah's guidance be with us.
