The One who is the most generous, both physically and spiritually.

The One who is continually giving forth the grandest and most precious bounty.

The One whose kind, noble and generous essence is most esteemed, valued and honored.

The One who endlessly gives all manner of precious gifts, including support and refuge.

The One who is eternally giving, even unto those who may not seem (to us) to be deserving.

Asalaamu Alaikum, sin is a greater gravity whilst fasting because it is a time when Allah has made it easier for us to do good deeds and on top of that it is a time when we should control ourselves in everyway from our eyes, to our tongue, ears etc and refrain from doing anything that will displease Allah. The more we sin whilst fasting the less reward we will have until we will have no reward at all as a hadith states some people will fast and only gain hunger from it and some people will stay up the whole night and only gain tiredness from it and much of this is due to not being able to control our tongue, eyes and ears from sin.

If we cannot stop committing major sins whilst we are fasting then we are not gaining anything but hunger from our fasts. So we should try our best to refrain from major sins and repent to Allah and ask of him to help us control ourselves.

I don't have much to contribute as far as what you're asking, but in regards to the sins being counted as "bigger", that is Insha'Allah a negative. There are ahadith where good deeds being multiplied by X amounts is being talked about, and in the same ahadith it is also mentioned that a bad deed still counts as 'only' a single bad deed. Bad deeds are never multiplied while good deeds are always multiplied by Allah's grace. In fact, according some ahadith, bad deeds are not always even recorded, and are often erased due to some other good actions we may be doing etc, or "just because". That is the Mercy of our Creator, mercy which we cannot comprehend.

Obviously, that does not mean that it's a "free for all" for sinning. Allah knows what's in our hearts.
