    Default Traveling during Ramadan, fast or no?

    I'm planning on traveling for two days with my family this weekend, insha'Allah.

    I've heard that it's Sunnah NOT to fast.
    I've also heard that we don't "have to" fast.

    Are these both right? Encouraged, discouraged?
