Default Do I have to repeat all past fasts again?

Unfortunately, for years now, I been under the misconception that you can still eat till around 1 min the fajar athaan during Ramadan.

But after some research which I have literally done in the last few minutes, eating after the athaan has started invalidates the fast?

And if this is true, many of my previous fasts have been invalid....including todays.

    Oh dear.

    God forgive me.

As far as I'm aware, I'm not a scholar, but if you honestly did not know... then your fast will be valid. This would be one of those times when intention would be most important.

    I await a scholar's response.
    Teach me.

"Intention" is not enough when an action is done and one of its integrals of validity are omitted.
