Default A critical question about fasting- please answer

A friend of mine has asked me this question. I searched a lot but couldn't find out the perfect answer. So please help him.

He became sexually excited and touched his private parts which caused ejaculation. He didn't know that his fast was broken. He took fard ghusl without putting water inside deep of his throat and nose. He also repented for this sin. Later he could know that his fast was broken. Now what should he do? Should he take a new ghusl like that of a person who is not fasting (i.e. putting water in deep of throat and nose) or his previous ghusl was valid?

Note: In another thread I read that in case of eating after the Suhoor time (mistakenly), fasting will be nullified. But it will be Wajib for him not to eat or drink until Iftar.

But what about the case of my friend?

The Ghusl is valid. He does not have redo the Ghusl. [i] However, to avoid any confusion to his heart, fardh ghusl doesnt take more than 3 min. If he has a doubt, he can simply make another fardh ghusl.

Masturbation invalidates the Fast. The person should make Qadha for it. However Kaffarah is not necessary [ii]

    Wallahu A'lam,
