Salams sister So far I only that baking soda a tad drying. It's high in alkaline and a high ph of 9 so Im not really keen on using it everyday. Im trying to replace everything that may contain glcerine {pig fat} from body wash to toothpaste ugh gross pig in toothpaste too. The only things I brought were toothpaste, face wash, soap and essential oils. O.0 any hoo. If your head is itchy that could be to much baking powder. It could take 2-4 weeks to adjust as the scalp produces more sebum when shampooing doh! Anyhoo if your roots are still greasy try a little bit of talc, rub a small amount in them and brush out. The vinegar helps balance out the ph balance so maybe equal amounts of baking soda and vinegar. Man we'll be a cake at this rate lol. Anyhoo Once we get past the greasy part it should be ok. I tried lemon, cuecumber and vingar type shampoothie that cleaned it but not as good as the baking soda. Did that for two days on day 3 I used the baking soda that helped alot. I think it's the product build up. The soap today did a nice job and smells nice ^.^ it was nice to lather up. Must admit although im not conditioning my hair is the smoothest it's been in a while. ^.^ I can get my fingers through it from the lengths to the ends. Despite baking a cake on my head, I must be doing something right ^.^
