Default its quite annoying when threads are closed

this is a reply to this which i was prevented from typing.

firstly i did not call anyone a hypocrite. your reply sir was quite unexpected. should i make a thread now to clarify the TTP issue will it not get deleted?
it is absurd that simply asking to be more flexible and dynamic in one's behavior to these new trends and discussions is taken as personal criticism. i posed questions to which i got no reply.

how does one solve these problems esp the one in italics? do you offer an alternative forum every time such a thread is deleted via a PM to the person who made the thread? or have you written it in the SF rules that kindly visit these forums if you wish to discuss J!had?

this, or you need to provide another workable alternative to those people who raise such queries and a way to educate people about J!had and the reasons for war on terror and al-wala wal-bara. simply dleeting threads or telling them to go to jhuf won't do.

why would they go to jhuf or other forums?
-most people dont know about these forums.
-many do not go there because they might get arrested for it (yet they never leave an opportunity to comment on the mujahideen)
-jhuf is banned in pakistan by PTA. a very few would bother with proxies. (i dont know about other countries)
-others prefer sticking to just one forum. why go with the hassle of searching different forums, making accounts etc?
-many dislike jihadi forums as propaganda forums.

They are not going to allow such discussions and they are quite firm in it. Thats it and there is no use of asking repeatedly. As far as those who talk bad of mujahideen based on western media or any other media which spreads mostly lies, they should ponder on the ayat below and any such posts throwing the mujahideen in negative light should be deleted.

O you who believe, if a sinful person brings you a report, verify its correctness, lest you should harm a people out of ignorance, and then become remorseful on what you did. Surah 49: 6

Based on the above ayat, we muslims should stop being judgemental and throw comments as we like based on the media lest we regret in the akhirah.

As far as knowing who is bad and good, Allah SWT says, “O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a Criterion (to judge between right and wrong)…” AlAnfaal 8:29. Sheikh Maulana Abdus Sattar (DB) once said based on this ayat that the one who embraces taqwa won't fall into confusion who is right and who is wrong and to whom to follow for Allah SWT will grant him a light bcos of taqwa through which he will clearly see things. Our beloved Prophet SAW said, "ittaqu firasat al-mu'min fa innahu yara bi nurillah" "Beware the vision of the believer, for he sees with the light of Allah" This light is achieved through taqwa. Allahu alam

    السلام عليكم,

When you see someone post on the subject, report the post. Then reply to them informing that you've reported the post and explaining the sunniforum rule. In your reply, encourage them to seek more information elsewhere, and mention such things as the verse quoted by the sister above. That is a very good general reply. Then, that person will get the reply in their email and afterwards the thread will be closed/deleted.

why don't the moderators do it before deleting such threads?

how exactly will they verify its correctness? do they know where to look?

please explain to me in a few sentences below how exactly will you (as a random SFer) verify/refute the theory which states that afghan and pakistani taliban are working separately.

is a discussion where the composition of the FSA is discussed also not allowed because someone might speculate that alq@eda are part of it? or someone might state the reality that alq@eda is present in syria but not part of FSA? the black flags were all over the syrian twitterati, all over the news. hence should the whole syria discussion be banned?

you should ban all political discussions too. otherwise saying 'don't make J!had a part of such discussions' is akin to the secular forums' slogan, where morality and humanity are discussed but 'islamic discussion' isn't allowed. so people learn morality and humanity without Islam. similarly here people learn about politics without getting knowledge of J!had.

    i have two suggestions:

    1. have a list of websites and forums where J!had is discussed. i can provide a list if you wish. whenever you delete such threads make sure the participants get that list so they can be directed there.

    2. include some of the most prominent of these forums/websites on your Rules Page for new members (as an attached link) so that they know they can go elsewhere too.
