    Default Eid gift ideas

    Asalaamu Alaykum

I would like some suggestions for Eid presents for two boys aged 3 and 5.
The budget is £50 and could either be 2 gifts (one each) or just one gift that they can share.

The gift with the most thought and love is best. Whether that is something extravagant or something simple it doesn't matter to a 3year old/ 5 year old. In my opinion, the best gifts at this age are expereinces, maybe book some swimming sessions for them, or horseriding or even just take them bowling or soft play and then a fun meal.
‘Good and evil can never be equal. Repel (evil) with that which is better, and see how, then, someone between whom and you was enmity shall become a true friend. Yet none is given such goodness except those who are patient; none is given this but the most fortunate.’

Just an idea I wanted to do for my kids. Give them some money each, take them to a shop and tell them that many children on eid do not get any presents, they dont have a mommy or daddy so I want you to buy something for them that you would want for yourself. And let them buy a few presents (within a budget) and then send these stuff to a child of a similar age in a developing country. I think this would be a great eid present (in addition to something that you get for them too)

Note: This might be more suitable for the 5yr old though
Note 2: you dont have to spend a fortune you can take them to pound shop or somewhere nice but affordable, depending on your budget but remember the principle is love for your brother what you love for yourself.
