Assalamulalaikum,

Can we do Umrah anytime we want or do we have specific times for it. For example:- I intended to do Umrah this december but no operator has a package around that time?

you can do umra every time but from 9 to 12 zil hijja perfoming umra is Makrooh e Tahreemi

Is went for umrah recently during the first 10 days of Ramadan and that cost about £1600 per person. We went to Mecca and madinah. The cheapest time to go is like near March, April or May.

Tawaf e wada is wajib when you perform hajj but in umra not wajib

Im a shafi. for us it is wajib but not rukun. so if left out then a penalty must be paid but the hajj will not be affected. leaving it out without excuse is sinful. however when it is very difficult then there is an opinion by Imaam Rafi' which states that it is sunnah so if you leave it out & take ruksa because of difficulty then you dont need to pay the penalty & just loose out on fadhila. but I am a shafi. & this tawaf is only for hajj.

I think its best you speak to a maliki sheikh before you get Hanafi or shafi' answeres.
