    Default Did my wudhu break?

    a mod can come up with an appropriat title cause i cant think of any lol, aight heres my question

    i was praying a series or prayers right, after i was done i wiped my face with my hand and turns out my nose was bleeding a little, not flowing beyond my nose but inside it did a little.

    should i redo all my prayers or can i just assume it only started in the last couple minutes.

    flowing of the blood is the condition of nullifying the wudhu. if you have a wound which has visible blood, but its not flowing then that doesnt break the wudhu. (this info is from Beheshti Zewar )

    it didnt flow onto my lips but it diod flow inside my nose, the small wound was in the upper left corner of my nostril but the blood was on all sides. i think my wudu was invalidated.

    the issue is that i do not know when this started. i dont recall any feeling in my nose in my first few prayers, so should i just assume it didnt start untill later?

    Wouldn't it just be better to redo the prayers instead of waiting for the sister's reply which depends on a 3rd party..which could depend on another party...and so forth...get my point?

    Position of the `amal 'ahlu'l-Madina (Maliki): [Ibn Juzayy: Things that break wudu' in other schools, but not in the Maliki school are: vomiting, belching, nosebleeds or other bleeding, cupping, the emission of pus, laughing in the prayer (Abu Hanifa), eating camel meat, eating cooked food, carrying the dead person, slaughtering animals. None of these break wudu'.]

    I hope this will help you.

    If one was bleeding, or his nose was bleeding, or is injured and begins to bleed, or blood comes out from small boils (and pimples,etc.), or bleeds from any other part of the body, or some matter or pus comes out - then in all these cases wudu will break. However, if the blood or pus remains on the mouth of the wound and does not flow over it, wudu will not break. Based on this, if a person is pricked by a pin and blood comes out, but does not flow, then wudu will not break.

    If someone scratches the skin of his boil or pimple and he sees some blood or pus underneath it, and it remains in the same place without flowing out, wudu will not break. But if it flows out, wudu will break. {will apply to nose as well}

    You say you're not sure if you were bleeding throughout the Salaah, or only when you wiped your face, in that case it would be a doubt. And from what i've read, a doubt does not break the wudhu, so your wudhu broke when you saw the blood.
