First, pray you five obligatory prayers whenever you are able, you will have to account for them. And make du'a to Allah

that He makes a path to ease in the deen for you. You seem to have the earnestess of a new convert to Islam which may help your du'a, but above all you must be patient with the choice of Allah in all things.

keep islam simple. pray, make dhikr, read the quran and stay away from sin. visit great sites like sunnipath and madrasaprogram.

Make sincere dua for allah to ease your practice, attend masjids as much as you can.

The sects can be confusing but just make it simple. follow the majority. the majority follow sunni islam and adhere to a madhab.

Dear Brother

It is correct that you should try to firmly establish your five daily prayers. Make sure that what you eat is Halaal, and this does not only apply to meat it applies to all consumables.

Constantly make dua to teh almighty for help. Also try and find a friend who is a muslim with a good nature so that you can speak to and ask advise from. He will inturn guide you to more learned people who will be able to assist you.

Smiling is charith according to the prophetic tradition, so if you cant give monetary figures just smile with people (obviously not those from the other sex as one thing may lead to another) Never be rude to your pearents, always treat them kindly, you might be a means of the entering into Islam.

Keep a cool head and make alot of Thikr, soo things will change Inshallah (god willing) Ameen
